We collect: Phone number (used for login verification), Name (optional, used to personalise your experience), Payment reference numbers (used to confirm your subscription), Learning progress (lessons completed, homework submitted), Approximate location (country, region, city) detected automatically from your IP address to personalise your experience and improve our service. This is not precise location data and is not shared with third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to verify your identity when you log in, activate and manage your subscription, track your learning progress, and send you your one-time login code via SMS.
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We use Supabase for secure data storage, Anthropic Claude for AI homework grading, and Twilio for SMS delivery.
4. Data Security
Your data is stored securely using industry standard encryption. We use Supabase which complies with SOC 2 security standards.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data, request deletion of your account and data, and correct any incorrect information. Contact us on WhatsApp to exercise these rights.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion we will remove your data within 30 days.
7. Children
Hawa Academy is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 please ask a parent or guardian to create an account.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via SMS.
